This notice describes our current website and enquiry process. It is not legal advice. Paid work is governed by a written statement of work.
Who we are
CODESEQ LTD (company number 13893168) is the data controller for personal data processed through this website. We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales.

What we collect
There is no account system on this site. We only collect personal data if you choose to contact us.
If you use the contact form or email the studio, we receive the details you send. That typically includes your name, email address, company name if you give one, and the content of your message.
We do not ask for special category data, and you should not send it through the form.
Why we use it
We use enquiry data to understand your brief, reply, and — if you ask us to — take steps toward a contract. The legal bases under UK GDPR are:
- Legitimate interests — responding to people who contact a software studio (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Steps prior to entering a contract, where you are asking us to quote or start work (Article 6(1)(b)).
How long we keep it
This website does not store contact-form submissions in a database. A successful send is delivered to our inbox by email. We keep that message only as long as we need it for the conversation, a related proposal, or a legal obligation, then delete or anonymise it.
Processors and hosting
This website is hosted by Vercel, Inc. When you visit a page or submit the form, Vercel processes the request on our behalf (IP address, technical logs, and the form payload in transit).
Contact-form messages are sent using Resend (Resend, Inc.) so they reach our studio inbox. Resend processes the name, email, company, and message you submit, plus standard delivery metadata.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.) as a security check on the contact form to reduce automated spam. Cloudflare receives a short-lived token and typical request metadata for that check. It is not used for advertising.
Vercel, Resend, and Cloudflare act as processors under our instructions. We do not sell personal data. We do not use advertising networks or analytics products on this site today.
International transfers
Vercel, Resend, and Cloudflare may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK GDPR — typically the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses.
Cookies and similar technologies
We do not set advertising, analytics, or other non-essential cookies.
The site stores your theme preference (light or dark) in the browser using localStorage under the key codeseq-theme. That is strictly necessary to remember a setting you chose, or to apply a sensible default. It is not used to identify you across sites.
Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form is a strictly necessary security check. It may set a technical cookie or similar storage so the challenge can run. It is not used to advertise to you.
Your browser may also send standard technical data to the host (such as IP address and user agent) so the page can be delivered. Those logs are handled by Vercel as part of operating the site.
If we later add optional analytics or marketing cookies, we will update this notice and ask for consent where UK GDPR and PECR require it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, erase, or restrict personal data we hold about you, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and ask for data portability where it applies. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.

Children
This site is aimed at businesses and professional contacts. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes
